TCIL has created a healthy ecosystem of OEMs and SI through a transparent and online method of empanelment wherein Manufacturers and the System Integrators can get empanelled with TCIL seamlessly. Innovators and Startups are also encouraged to get empanelled through the same process but under separate category of Startups. As on date 166 Startups have been empanelled with TCIL while total 97 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) /System Integrators (SIs) have been empanelled with TCIL taking the total tie-ups to 263.

In line with the Vision of Government of India, TCIL actively pursues the Make in India (MII) policy. There is special focus on Make in India and export of Indigenous technology in the field of 4G/5G, GPON, Converged Core, Fintech solutions and biometric based National ID solutions. TCIL has joined the VoICE (Consortium of Indian OEMs in telecom sector) and is actively playing a lead role in various Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and field trials. TCIL had offered to take up the role of Master System Integrator to work out indigenous solution in 4G/5G along with tie-up with Telcos for testing in its network. The objective of TCIL is to create environment for incubation of competitive ecosystem.
