Petroleum Conservation
Since 2016, as a part of our social activities, we have been organising a mass awareness campaign on “Oil & Gas Conservation” in different ways like – Trailer Campaign (2016), Boat Campaign (2017), Tram Campaign (2018), Bus Campaign (2019), Canopy Campaign & Drawing Competition (2020), Van Campaign (2021), River Campaign (2022), Railway Station Campaign (2023), Highway Campaign (2024) and Demo Tent Campaign (2025).
The motto of this campaign, with the tagline “Save Fuel – Save Future”, is to aware the common people about the oil and gas conservation by tips and techniques through leaflets and demonstration.
At every stage we tried to attract the mass people through distributing leaflets and drawing public attention to the risks and advantages of certain behaviour pertained with fossil fuel saving and grow interest among the people about the use and benefits of green & clean fuel.
Fuel conservation and use of green & clean fuel is an important part of India’s response to reducing global warming. It is also essential to achieve the target – “Net Zero Emissions by 2070” for a better future.
Shilpa Bichitra, an industry and commerce oriented journal has conceptualized this innovative idea to organise this awareness programme every year; supported by most of the public sector companies like – IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, ONGC, OIL, GAIL, EIL and supported by PCRA.
